In order to improve the mesh quality in Ansys Workbench I usually make multibody parts ("slice material" and after "form new part") from one body. But the results are impacted by the cuts especially in a complex simulation. The cut lines and surfaces can be recognized in the result field, while theoretically the mesh is continuous.

The attached pictures show one example. The stress is almost double on one side than on the other which jump disappear when the part is not sliced.

What is behind this problem? Is this method accurate?
