Real Estate Appraisal is undoubtedly a very important professional endeavor to engineers, economist, lawyers, and other disciplines. It is in fact a very fruitful interdisciplinary ground but it lacks of academic rigor. There are very few postgraduates studies focused on Real Estate Valuation and I can get no Academic Journals.

I have guessed that it is possible a very pragmatic field kept by professional practitioners and then dismissed by academy. There are international associations as the Appraisal Institute, UPAV, FECOVAL and other professional groups in all Latin-america and Europe, also are MSc studies in México, some academic research in Spain, another postgraduate studies very related in Colombia and Venezuela but in spite of this it is very difficult to find solid academic literature in the area.

I want to get insights from Research Gate community in order to shed light to this rare phenomena or in order to discover academic sources of research that I coudn't find by myself.

Thanks in anticipation
