Dear Pariya, accurate identifications of phosphorus forms are very important for understanding the geochemical cycle of P and availability of P during plant growth. In general, NaHCO3 extractable (labile) fractions are expected to be available during crop growth. A small fractions of NaOH and HCL extractable P may also be expected to be taken up by the plants. To know the both organic and mineral fractions are also very important as organic P has to hydrolyzed by phosphatase or phytase enzymes before being utilized to the plants. We need to know the residual fractions of P also as that part can not be utilized by plants unless and until it is converted to labile fraction with time .
