I can explain exactly how I achieve orgasm. I can explain the erotic turn-ons I use for arousal, the specific anatomy involved and the stimulation technique. Yet my experience has nothing in common with beliefs about female orgasm in our society! The belief (there is no research evidence) that women respond to the stimulation that men provide is more attractive to men (who attribute female orgasm to their own sexual prowess) and to women (who eulogise about lovemaking and prefer to leave any genital stimulation to men).

I'm not embarrassed or caught up in taboo at all - and I don't think it's wise to belittle those who try to start a dialogue. I am a scientist and not a philosopher and know that spoken languages are useless as a means of communication in scientific contexts because few words - if any - are unambiguously defined. Before I get into a discussion, I want to find out if your goal with the question is to clear up a problem or just show your name on RG. A word or token is nothing more but a "pointer" to an idea ... which in this case points to my interpretation of the syllables "Hera" and "clitus" - and if you don't understand this, we won't get any further.
I think my question is clear. There is no research to support the belief that women orgasm from intercourse. We will have to agree to disagree over the usefulness of words in communication. I suggest you move on.
