Asking a circular question about asking questions and providing answers as well as further questions. The process could go on ad finitum meaning that the process itself could circumvent (and not circumnavigate) the discovery of genuine knowledge that we need more than ever since it is now about apocalyptic global warming.
Thank you for the answer. If you could summarise it in one line that would be great!! Sometimes when I write a 'pitch' the editors ask me to 'summarise' my research in 50 words or less. So 50 words or less would suffice as either an answer or a question!
Okay I've downloaded what appears to be 'your over 50 word Nobel Prize speech!!!' but you are using a pseudonym! I will read it. But is it reducible to 50 words or less? Sometimes things cannot be reducible but sometimes they can if one keeps hammering away at the wording and the phrasing and the order of words and the style of the phrases...and then there is also the question of where and when to put a full stop if one is required at all as there are these options so many options that now include emoticons...
This is not an answer or a question it is either an observation, a judgement or a statement or all of these things or none of them. Your pen name writes really well. I can hear a strong voice in the/your words so I can imagine your/the speech. I will continue to read it.
One observation though and it has nothing to do with the speech and your important research area...unfortunately it's to do with the fact that in this social media and mediated era the science of climate change has been abused, misused and deliberately misrepresented or forced underground.
You scientist guys needed really, really smart marketeers and litigation lawyers on your side.
You needed to arm yourself with massive weapons of communication so that the wider population understood what I thought was self-evident.
You guys needed to be prepared to adopt standover mafia tactics toward any dodgy politician or cheap journalist who was and is unethical and/or plain stupid enough to politicise the science.
I know this is easily said now. Hindsight is known to provide 20/20 vision which is still not perfect vision but vision nonetheless.
I will continue to read your/the speech because I do want to know the science properly from a scientist's point of view, from your point of view.

Another observation from the middle...you and Melvin Calvin...well the latter really and his colleagues and followers had a good span of time (60 years) to get those marketeers, those lawyers, and if needed 'mafia hit men' to influence people to listen to the science...
I think that I should have studied global warming when I was at school. I did science but it was not interesting so I did not turn up...I did not even turn up to school most days because pretty much everything was redundant.
More women need to teach and write about science and more children need to be enthralled by it...again sadly it is the role of marketers initiate this but it would be better if the scientists could do this too.
I think that not all questions are of this type.. Yes, cluster questions that revolve around a base point can achieve this course.. The more the teacher is able to ask questions is an important and necessary thing
