Why do I see two diagonal populations in FSC-A vs. FSC-H during flow cytometry? Which population represents true singlets?

I am analyzing the immune cells in neuronal cell bodies using flow cytometry and noticed two diagonal populations in my FSC-A vs. FSC-H plot. I have excluded the dead cells.

Is it possible that both populations are singlets?

I've attached the plot below.
