Why do focused everyone i mean most of researcher focused Nano synthesis?

We can not use alone nano particles like Ag, Zn etc., for any medicinal application process. Is any organization like FDA approved for taking medicine with nano particles? and everyone forgot about mono effect and only focused to with synergic effect.
