We are conducting a metananlysis on SMRs in occupational health.
But the CIs calculated in our metanalyses consequently differs from the original CIs, the point estimates does not change.
Does it depend on the type of meta-analytic model you used (random effect vs fixed effect)?
After working on it I think it depends on plotting the data as logaritmic.
