I mixed 60% of the mass of strontium nitrate with zinc acetate, and the thin layers were formed by the SILAR method. When the DRX results appeared, there was no pic for strontium, there was a difference in the intensity only.
DRX stands for X-ray diffraction? Do you expect to see peaks of two different phases? One containing Zn and the other Sr? Because if a solid solution formed you only see a series of peaks, due to the mixed phase.
