Why combination of location service and routing improves the performance of VANET? Cam mathematically the improvement can be expressed?

Generally QSR is considered as the parameter for location based service. End-to-end delay, number of hops etc. are the parameters for routing. Why combination of routing and location service enhances the performances of the parameters?

Because vehicles are moving in VANETS. Everytime location is changed and hence nearby nodes or vehicles are also changed due to which routing nodes will change everyone with respect to location of vehicle.
