The basic design and method of reciprocating piston in cylinder ICE hasn’t changed much. Why any of the numerous patents granted for expansion of exhaust gases in additional cylinder(s) have been implemented? I have applied for one modification/invention where exhaust gases are fully decompressed in additional cylinder(s) and is termed as power stroke there. Cross sectional cumulative area of additional cylinder(s) pistons is such that cumulative FORCE acting on these piston(s) / ConRod(s) at TDC while receiving exhaust gas and peak FORCE on IC Engine Piston/ConRod in its power strokes are matched (inter alia these are integral multiples of peak force in combustion stroke of ICE cylinder). Movement of pistons in those two types of cylinders in their respective power strokes with equal initial force and with equal strokes (stroke lengths) ensures equal amount of mechanical work/power imparted. Thus values of additional power of THE PATENTED ENGINE per exhaust stroke compared to power of conventional I C Engines as percentage are 100% 200% 300% etc.
