Hi there!

I just replaced tube sensor of our AKTA purifier Frac-920 and I cannot set up runs because the connection can't be made between the instrument and the fraction collector. I plugged/unplugged everything multiple times (even restarted the whole system twice), adjusted the arm height so there's a clearance between the arm and tube, the sensor rests against the back of the tube...

Once I connect Frac-920 to the purifier, I briefly see 'Run Method' displayed on Frac-920 screen which disappears after a couple of seconds when the self-test is done, and then I'm left with 'Select and Check' screen where I can browse through the menu (buttons on the left hand-side are unresponsive). The manual and Tech Support both say all buttons should be unresponsive when proper connection is made, which is not my case.

I saw that quite a few people previously voiced their own issues with different parts of the AKTA purifier system. Some of these commments and suggestions have been very useful in my own troubleshooting, so I hope I could get some tips on how to fix this new issue!

Is there a possibility I installed the sensor wrong, or is it something else?

Thank you very much to anyone with ideas!
