    This idea is really great and we would be glad to join. During summer 2014 we organised our local "The North Pacific biodiversity study summer school at Vostok Marine station in Vladivostok (Russia). This school could offer some initiative for cooperation. We have scientists who could provide classes in the fields of molecular systematics, botany, hydrobiology, cultivation of marine invertebrates and so on. There are the boats, diving service, any kinds of equipments and accomodation that could serve sutisfactory to provide good qulity of research and study. Please, add us into the list of colleaguies who would like to get information and start discussion.

We are very interested in participating, modelling all aspects of the marine ecosystem and the physical-biological coupling is of great interest for us. This comprise a.o. climate change impacts, atmosphere-ocean-sea ice coupling, pollutants, lower-higher trophic coupling, ocean acidification, organism  behaviour and turbulence. We are particularly intertested in regional sea systems.

First Tide gauge in the study area (manuscript currently in review); we have done lots of research in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Suez

if this topic is still active, me and my colleagues from Saint Petersburg State Uni (Oceanography department) would like to share interest in project.

We are currently collecting data: meteorology (air temperature, wind speed & direction, atmospheric pressure, light, relative humidity) since 2010 (every30 minutes).

Water temperature since 2004 (5 sensors; some 15 minutes and some 30 minutes)

We deployed light intensity under water and ALL were "stolen/Disappeared"

Tide gauge (2nd year)
