Hi John,

Dhimurru Aboriginal Corporation are a ranger group with exemplary practice in managing the IPA of East Arnhem. In a recent article the rangers and academics presented a discussion about the importance of their governance structures and collaborative working partnerships across the IPA.

They discuss issues that arise when managing sea country in IPAs and may suggestions about what constitutes good practice. This may be example of how STEM teaching and learning could be applied in remote Indigenous contexts. Articles about the ‘Learning on Country’ programs being trialled by NT schools and ranger groups in N.E. Arnhem Land may also be of interest.

Yes i saw that Leonard, the only problem is that the paper was led by a balanda. Im keen to see a leading aboriginal author. There are a few but their work is a bit patchy spread out over a long time.
