Is it wrt to positive/negative electrode or wrt the total mass of both electrodes?
For example, if I am using A as a positive electrode with 2 mg loading and B as a negative electrode with 4 mg loading then in order to apply 1 A/g current density what charging/discharging current should be applied (2 mA, 4 mA, or 6 mA current)?
Dear Man Singh, I think you are referring to specific current and not current density, as current density is the current divided by the electrode area according to IUPAC (see enclosed document). In this document you can read: "The (practical) specific charge is the total charge obtainable under specified discharge
conditions from a practical cell in one discharge cycle divided by the total mass of the cell (mb)." The total charge depends on the quantity of active material of the limiting electrode. I hope this helps. Best regards, Nicolas
