Our project is planning to use a Screw press dehydrator and wants to install and waste water system to treat the water byproduct from the dyhydrator. The water has BOD level of 8000 mg/l.
Which wastewater system is the best way to treat it?
1) To the sewer- MBR, MBBR, SBR, DAF?
2) Reuse within the plant - RO or Ultrafiltration?

The treatment is majorly depends on the in-fluent quality and desired effluent standards. As you told about the BOD only and up to what level it need to be treated is must require to recommend any treatment. Aeration used broadly to reduce the BOD. The use of ozone is a very cost efficient and environmentally friendly option for BOD and COD control and reduction. Please share the desired standard and effluent quality for clarification.
