Could you recommend to me some valve for the gas injection into low pressure plasma reactor? Normally I was using good old needle valve, but unfortunately it became too old. I am using precursors such as cyclopropylamine or maleic anhydride which are corrosive as most of amine precursors. Of course the valve can be cleaned and repaired from time to time but not after each experiment.
Maybe somebody was trying to use diaphragm valves for amine precursors? Please share your experience

Dear colleague, we used cooled allylamine as amine precursor in combination with a normal needle valve for the dosage into the low pressure plasma reactor. We have never had any problems with that arrangement. Also a colleague of mine told me his experience with ethylenediamine. They heated the EDA (35degrees) and used also a normal needle valve without any problems. Unfortunately, we have no experience with diaphragm valves. Best regards, Birgit Finke

Thank You very much for your tip. I was also using old good valve for a couple of years, but unfortunately it is not working anymore (it 30+ years old) and I had a trouble to find a "true" needle valve. Basically the old robust valves that were produced 2 years ago are not on the market anymore. I bought some new valves but they were blocked with the monomer too quickly. If the valves that you are using are still on the market I will appreciate to learn what is the manufacturer and from where to buy them.
