Many formal assessments have been applied for the evaluation of undergraduate and postgraduate students and residents during clinical practice like the mini Clinical Evaluation Exercise (CEX) and Direct Observation of Procedural Skills (DOPS). While the impact of these evaluations is clear for residents and postgraduate students, its utility and effectiveness in undergraduate seems to be different. The other thing is that do we need to use both evaluations together, or we can use the miniCEX alone? Your contribution is greatly appreciated.
