I know, that epoxy is used as a form release in case of forming Polyvinyl Alcohol (PVA). Now, I figured out that there are different types of epoxi resin. However, my knowledge regarding chemistry is rather limited.
My question: Which epoxy is the most suitable one, when releasing from PVA or doesn't that matter? And if it matters, could you give a short Explanation on why it matters?
Some details: I want to prepare a surface with epoxy. After that I will press the epoxy onto a droplet (solution of PVA : H2O with ratio 1:1) transforming the droplet geometry. Finally, I will release the epoxy surface right after transformation (due to the viscosity of the solution the droplet won't re-transform again). Keep in mind, I'm focusing on a poor (ideally non-existent) adhesion of the epoxy to the PVA-H2O-solution.

Generally PVA is release agent for every epoxy resin. It's doesn't matter which exactly epoxy you will use. My suggestionis to put 3 layers PVA. But you also should know that you can use many other release agents for protect the surface of the mold.

Just wait for while for each PVA layer to be dry and then try for another layer.
