Hello, thanks for reading my question.
I want to know in industrial cases which shape of activated carbon (AC) is suitable for VOC (more particular gasoline) adsorption. Granular AC has more surface area but more likely to dust formation and also more tendency to compacted during desorption. Does carbon pellets use in industry for gasoline adsorption in large scales?
What is the best carbon base material for gasoline vapor adsorption applications? I think hardness and specific surface area are important factors in the selection, but I can not find any research that is related to hardness.
