I want to disperse fine metal powder in solvent-free UV-curable mixtures of low viscosity (< 200 mPas). Any particle agglomeration and sedimentazion must be hindered ny the surfactant.
If you want to get metal particles into an organic solution, maybe you should think of compounds that will specifically coordinate or modify the metal to form a SAM. It probably depends on the metal and whether the surface is metal or metal oxide. Thiols, Carboxlates, Alkyl phosphates can all be used for stabilisation of various metal nanoparticles. Gold nanoparticles can be stabilised with dodecanethiol for example. see Chem Rev 2005, 105,1103-1169
