I have a randomized controlled trial research project. Eight training sessions were held for adolescents.
I have a pre-test, post-test and follow up test after 30 days. I have two dependent variables with
13 subcomponents.
in some papers for data analysis, ANCOVA and MANCOVA were used and in some papers
ANOVA with repeated measures was used.
Which data analysis method is proper for high-rank journals?
Instead of "research", this is Better to ask the statistical analysis for:
1) between which variables?
2) what is the aspected to know from this statistical analysis
Then it would be more easy and clear to answer you effectively.

It depends on type of data , whats type of response variable ? Quantitative or categorical (How many categories)?
After clarity , the analysis can be decided
Thank you for your responses and guidance, the dependent variables are subjective well being and emotional intelligence. the data gathered by questionnaires in pre-test, post-test and follow up tests. subjective well being has 3 components and emotional intelligence has 10 components. I want to know that can the training session improves these two dependent variables at post-test and follow up test or not.
Is your response quantitative or categorical ?
If the responses are non-numbered, you can apply any of Friedman, Kendall's W, and Cochran's Q. You can apply Repeated measurements ANOVA, if the responses are quantitative.
