DCU is insoluble in water but dissolves in organic solvents like dichloromethane and DMF. Acetonitrile can be used to precipitate DCU by cooling the mixture.
1,3-dicyclohexylurea (CAS #2387-23-7) has been repeatedly crystallized out of ethanol (see SciFinder entries under Experimental properties --> Thermal). This means that it is soluble at least in warm ethanol; depending on your needs it may be soluble enough in cold ethanol as well.
