I am a Microbial Biotechnology student and I am also interested in Bioinformatics, therefore, I want to know which programming language may help me in Microbial Biotechnology research, although, I know all programming languages have their own benefits, however, which language will be easier to learn for beginner student and may help in significant research work.
Python or R any one you can choose. R little bit easier, syntax length also smaller than python. In ecology or biotechnology it is too famous and there huge package has already developed.

I suggest that you make your choice based on the resources available to help you learn. For example, both languages have 'in a Nutshell' books from the same publisher. You might go to an appropriate bookstore or library, compare the books and use the one that you find most likely to help you learn. There may also be videos available for learning.

as per my experience R is better one for your stream as you mention its has nice packages and library for analyzing biological data. like Bio-conductor, etc.

you start from python and after you should learn R and Java
