Dear Malinda Thilakarathna, Thank you for raising the question. I understood you are asking which type of photosynthesis measuring equipment to purchase. As to me I used the Infrared gas analyser (IRGA) for measuring the photosynthesis and related related performance mechanisms in plant leaf. Except its bulkiness (weight), the performance is very excellent.

Thanks everyone for your comments/reply. I am actually looking for an instrument to measure photosynthesis carbon assimilation efficiently with high precision. I found that there are many options available: LI-COR 6800, Walz GFS‑3000, PP Systems CIRAS‑3, ADC LC-Pro.

I suggest that go for Infrared Gas Analyser (IRGA) for measuring the photosynthesis as suggested by Girma Hailemichael. It is good.
