Which one will you buy if they are both standing at the same price with the live broiler weighing more than the live free range raised one?
The same price per Kg is not possible, it is not realistic. If you mean the same price for a single poultry weighting half of the other, then it is not really the same price. And the answer is out there in the market: just compare the amount of broilers and free range poultry that it is sold in most countries.
The answer depends on who you ask this question and when. Even in this quite unrealistic situation you might receive different answers at different moments or situations. And also do not forget that the general public will often answer to go for good quality, but in the shop many will choose with their wallet and thus go for price.

In the like manner, prices of local free range birds are not weigh but it is assumed that the intensive raised broiler will weigh more compared to the free range.
I will prefer the locally grown free range birds, because I think they are supposed to be free from antibiotic residues.
