Advanced System for Process Engineering (ASPEN) to enable simulation of wastewater treatment plants operating at steady state conditions and to verify the model using actual field data. It covers a wide range of engineering processes. The mathematical model can be used to investigate the performance and treatment capability. The system complexity and inefficiency is composed of three parts, Primary, Secondary and Territory unit. ASPEN is a process simulation software package widely used in waste water treatment. Given a process design and an appropriate selection of thermodynamic models, ASPEN uses mathematical models to predict the performance of the process. This information can then be used in an iterative fashion to optimize the design.
