As we know that there are two main standards to measure the journals value, those standards are: The ISI Web of Knowledge(Impact Factor). The SJR journal & Country Rank, powered by Scopus. So which one is better?
Generally the ISI Web of Knowledge(Impact Factor) is that is used in academic evaluations so it reflects the immediate "value" of a publication in a journal and the Scopus metrics are generally not considered for academic evaluations.
The journal comparison one can make with the Scopus based metrics is undoubtedly giving the possibility for a deeper analysis so it is proper for planning there to publish in terms of long term impact so to say to optimize the awareness a publication gets in the longer perspective.
