By TEM measurement, the lattice fringe image and SAED pattern of the poly-crystalline sample were obtained. It is a sample mixed with several phases. I am asking because I think I lack knowledge about TEM image analysis. I would appreciate it if you could tell me kindly and in detail.
1. Which of the SAED patterns with various d-spacing values can be seen in the lattice fringe image? Is this high intensity or mainly distributed d-spacing?
(The d-spacing with the highest XRD intensity in my sample is 9Å, but when measure with a lattice fringe, I can only see a 2~3Å) 2. Is the high intensity spot (or ring) pattern in SAED the same as the d-spacing of the lattice mainly distributed in the lattice fringe image? 3. Can all d-spacing that can be identified in the XRD pattern was in the SAED pattern?

You cannot chose yourself any desired d spacing from fringes. You have to go according to data. You have to find out the diamteter of ring which is visible. Calculate the radius and then take inverse of that radius.
