Which method is preferable for modelling tuned liquid damper (TLD) in SAP2000/ETABS?

There are two methods to model tuned liquid damper (TLD) which is based on shallow wave theory (Sun's) model and equivalent tuned mass damper (TMD) approach (Yu's model). which one is better representation for all type of amplitude?
