You can use Yeast extract-pectin agar medium as a Sole carbon source ( 48 hrs at 34 degree Centigrade) and then plate was flooded with 2% cetrimide and washed with 1M NaOH or flooded with ruthenium red (0.05%). Colonies giving detectable halo zones.
