I am working on material which shows typical cusp in temperature dependence of real part of dielectric constant and tangent loss curve. The cusp shifts to the higher temperature with increase in frequency, thus showing Relaxor behaviour. I carried out following analysis.

1) I fitted frequency dependent dielectric constant using Cole-Cole modified  Debye function to get relaxation time for different temperature. The temperature dependence of relaxation time was fitted using Arrhenius equation.

2) Peak temperature (temperature at which maxima occurs in temperature dependence of real part of dielectric constant) was found at various frequencies. This data of relaxation time =1/2.pi.f  Vs. Tmax was fitted using Vogel-Fulcher law.

Both the data fits good. Now the problem is which analysis is correct as I have seen in literature, either of both approaches are used.
