These techniques for collecting and analyzing data for the needs of scientific research are important and essential. However, we can say that they are also classic. In contrast, in modern knowledge-based economies, in the era of the fourth technological revolution known as Industry 4.0, in the age of advanced information processing technology development, new research techniques based on the use of cloud computing information technology, conducting a sentiment analysis on large collections are also important data downloaded from the Internet and analyzed in Big Data database systems. To this should be added new technologies ak. The application of artificial intelligence and the study of information downloaded from the comments of Internet users with profiles on social media portals. In addition, the use of Business Intelligence analytics to study correlations in complex multifaceted problems combining management, economics, finance, logistics, etc. with other fields of knowledge.

The role of science in the age of advanced technology development is particularly important. Currently, information societies are entering a new era of technological revolution based on the growing importance of information, knowledge, innovation and technology as the most important production factors in currently developing knowledge-based economies.
It is also important to develop research techniques.
The current technological referendum referred to as Industry 4.0 is motivated mainly by the following factors:
- artificial intelligence,
- cloud computing,
- machine learning,
- Big Data database technologies,
- Internet of Things.
However, for the improvement of economic development and development in the sustainable model in the 21st century, the developed technologies in the fields of biotechnology, genetics, life science, medical inelligence, space exploration as well as ecological and energy innovations will be particularly important.
The development of ecological innovations, technological innovations, energy RES, material innovations that support replacing substitutes with exhausted resources of energy, innovations that improve the economic efficiency of reclaiming processes, innovations reducing reclamation costs of environment devastated by industry etc. will determine the implementation and development of the sustainable model in the future development of national economies.
In view of the above, it is important to develop research techniques and instruments to improve the instruments for conducted research using the latest available analytical technologies, currently mainly in the field of advanced, computerized processing of large data sets in Big Data database systems.
The above question inspired me to the following considerations:
In my opinion, because not all people conducting research use advanced information processing instruments such as data processing in the cloud, analysis of information collected from the Internet using sentiment analysis in Big Data database systems, analysis of large data sets using probabilitic, stochastic analytical models and other advanced statistics in computerized platforms such as Business Intelligence.
Currently, techniques for analyzing large data sets in Big Data database systems are developing rapidly. The costs of these analytical processes and necessary IT tools are gradually falling and can now be available to any entity with relatively low financial resources.
In view of the above, the current question is: The development of analytics and information processing in large data sets for the needs of scientific works?
Please, answer, comments. I invite you to the discussion.
In my opinion, scientific research is the most important source of emerging innovations, new technological solutions and improvements in production processes that contribute to civilization development and technological progress, and also constitute an important source of added value of production processes in the economies of developed countries in knowledge-based economies. In the future, research should play a particularly important role in knowledge-based economies. For example, research should generate innovative ecological and new renewable energy solutions in the future to reduce adverse climate change resulting from a progressive global warming process.
In connection with the above, in special situations of globally important research topics, in the situation of the urgent need to solve problems important for humanity, such as the problem of global warming - it is necessary to create and implement new solutions in the field of computerized, state-of-the-art research techniques. In such a situation, the main determinant of the development of the latest research techniques are the possibilities of financing the implementation of this type of projects.
Researchers can choose any of the numerous qualitative or quantitative methods of research as they wish, depending upon the circumstances, time, resources, and the type of study. Social sciences mainly make use of qualitative and non-experimental methods although experimental methods are also adopted occasionally.
Some of the common non-experimental methods are natural observation, historical research, ethnographic research, cross sectional study, longitudinal study, cohort study, case study, correlational research, model building, action research, and participatory learning and action (PLA).
I have no hesitation to say that experiments have the maximum impact, because
these can lead to new inventions and discoveries, new theories and laws, and revision of accepted theories and laws. Among the various types of experiments, (true experiments, quasi-experiments, and ex post facto experiments) true experiments have the maximum impact.
Thank you so much Dr. Dariusz Prokopowicz for giving your valuable opinion. You'r absolutely right. Basically any point of view if we think abount research we must think the sutainability nowadays. It leads to us thinking about economical sufficiency. Our main problems for huminity are violence, disasters etc. To make a high quality research we must should think about economy and sustainability. I also agree your point that in this era we must improve our research techniques and utilize the technology for anlyzing big data set.
Dr. C George Thomas Thank you so much. You discussed about the impact on different types of research. You'r right. In your point of view experimental research makes great impact rather than non-experimental research. Obviously innovative idea brings revolution in the modern era. So it has always special value.
I would like to add further that it is not just getting data but interpreting the inferences from these and then presenting it in the right format fetches great impact in any research.
