Which journal is the most appropriate one for computer vision publications? (Name - Impact Factor)?
My work proposes an ambient assisted living (AAL) solution based on computer vision technology.
We implemented an activity recognition algorithm by using video data in order to help dementia and related diseases patients to leave indepedentedly in a home based environment.
We use motion analysis algorithms, image processing for object representation and Bag-of-Visual Words combined with SVM for recognition.
PAMI and IJCV are probably the most important ones for computer vision. Here is a good overview of other alternatives:

Probably your paper will include an overview to the state-of-the-art. In this case, you could check the references to previous work done by other people, and see the most "open-minded" journal to your specific topic.
Some times it is unclear the motivation of journals to consider that a paper is outside the journal's scope.

not exactly, but I think IF depend on the citations only, while SJR take other things in consideration not only the citation. I asked this question, many peoples answered me.. take a look at the question ...and put an upvote if u like the answers.
