I am searching a program to draw, with a good quality, a potential curve of a reaction to be added to an article. Which is the usual way to draw it, which programs do you use?
I think for drawing both 2D and 3D plot s,best option is MATLAB. It is really easy to use (uses at max 3-5 line of commands for drawing a 3d plot) and can produce really high quality image. Lots of customization options are also available. One of the PES image made in MATLAB is attached below.
For 2D curves I usually also use some graphic-editing software (mostly Photoshop) or ChemDraw and do them manually, like Rafik. It takes a bit longer, but you have full control over the final look.
