Hello ! I have to intern in a lab for 5 months next march and as I want to eventually do research in marine ecology, i want to intern in the same field.
I have found two internships, one in Tromsø that is exlusively lab work and data treatment for a master, and one in Trieste that includes field work on marine ecology (the kind of things that i would prefer doing).
The price of living there obviously has a big impact, but since it is my first internship, what kind of work do you think would be best to start ?
Since the one in Norway is a proposition and includes specific missions, whereas I asked for the one in Italy without a specific role to play, I'm afraid the latter would be less meaningful on a resume.

I would recommend Norway, it is closer to what you wanted and the experience you will gain doing fieldwork will be beneficial to you in the long run.
