I'm working on Wetland. I want to buy an instrument by which I can assess the physico-chemical parameters. Based on your experience please suggest which instrument is suitable for it.
You need to be more specific what type of water quality parameters you are planning to test for. To assess "water quality" you will have to measure the physical, chemical and biological parameters in the water. There is really no single instrument that is able to test "water quality" per se. You need to focus on the question you are trying to answer (your hypothesis) and then decide what type of water quality parameters would be most appropriate to test for, then you can decide on your instruments. If you give more information about your project I think more people will be able to make suggestions. I hope that this helps a bit.
First of all, you need to evaluate the redox processes in water. This is the EH sensor. It will replace the oxygen sensor. Second pH. The third process is an excess of nutrients (phosphorus nitrogen). It is complexly measured by the photocolorimetric method. If the sea is nearby, then an additional conductivity sensor is needed. Transparency can be assessed visually. SECOND option. Take a water sample and put a fish from the aquarium in it (whimsical). This is a comprehensive sensor.
