A few days ago, the capture team I work deployed an old GPS collar on a mountain lion (Puma concolor). I would like to know about available funding to buy a more modern collars (ideally more than one) to replace both it and GPS-tag other animals.

Moreover, you could try writing to the Tompkins Foundation (www.tompkinsconservation.org) or to the Pumalin Park. I think they had some tracked mountain lions few years ago. And perhaps They may be interested to collaborate with you.
