G.V. Black proposed a classification for dental caries. It was universally accepted and used by dental profession efficaciously for more than one hundred years. But it was when dental amalgam was the only material available for restorative purpose and philosophy of removing all the carious lesion was being followed.Current recommendation regarding caries is to drill lesion specifically and restore the lost tissue using adhesive materials.

The current philosophy of caries management is entirely against the Black's philosophy. If we discontinue Black's classification, which one should we use? Keep in mind, your proposed classification should gain global popularity.
