I am having difficulty deciding which definition of the construct is most appropriate for my study. The issue arises from the use of multiple items to measure my constructs, specifically four indicators that were adapted from a previous study's author. When operationalizing the variable, which definition should I focus on when adopting a specific definition in the operational terminology?
