MTS machine has two options to perform FCG test. First one is Delta K control which includes K increasing and decreasing test depending on normalized K gradient value (C=1/k) either positive or negative for increasing or decreasing K. Second one is force control. Pls clear following doubts.
1. Which control mode is preferred to perform FCG test (delta k increasing or constant load)? and why?
2. what is the difference between delta k increasing and constant load test?
3 when should we use delta k decreasing test?
4. how much time is required to perform precracking and FCG test.
