You can use the CIPP Model to determine the sustainability of teaching and Learning.
CIPP = Content, Input, Process and Product
For me sustainability revolves around aims and objectives. This seems as old as the hills but students need to know where they are going and how to get there. Factored into this in my opinion is assessment for learning because they need to know how they are doing on the way. The outcome of this may be resetting of objectives into more bite-sized targets for students experiencing difficulties in understanding or motivation.
As sustainability all this obviously comes on top of dynamic presentation, question and answer and group work. Thankyou. Dave

once students have clear picture of their profile (competence framework) which is the result of their study
they may see why they are learning specific concepts, subjects, methods and techniques
without knowing, that in order to understand marginal values in economics
they will be frustrated, what for they are learning calculus; derivatives of the function
without knowing, that in order to understand concept of total volume measurement in economics
they will be frustrated, what for they are learning calculus integrals math.
