This four phase model to curriculum review can be one model for determining the sustainability of the curriculum: Article Implementing a Four-Phase Curriculum Review Model
For me sustainability revolves around aims and objectives. This seems as old as the hills but students need to know where they are going and how to get there. Factored into this in my opinion is assessment for learning because they need to know how they are doing on the way. The outcome of this may be resetting of objectives into more bite-sized targets for students experiencing difficulties in understanding or motivation.
As sustainability all this obviously comes on top of dynamic presentation, question and answer and group work. Thankyou. Dave
