In my research i found many problems with this concept of "social engineering", because i only find documents with references to hacking, spywarre, and similar themes, but only a few quantity of papers mention the definition of the term in the perspective of social sciences, a work like Seeing Like a State help in the understand of this concept, but i need new sources to advance in my research....

Social engineering is addressed in the book "Our Human Herds."
It addresses the biological basis for mankind's two fundamental moral systems.
Just as the senses of sight, smell and touch evolved to help us navigate the physical world of streams and tress, so too did we evolve to basic moral senses to guide us through our dealings with people and groups.
These manifest themselves in many ways, including as our "liberal" or "conservative" political outlooks --- as socialistic or capitalistic in our economic outlooks --- or in terms of "personality" or "character" when discussing the human psyche.
This work investigates the underlying emotions that lead to SOCIAL ENGINEERING including moral laws against killing or abortion, welfare aid efforts, military protection, art, profanity, and immigration.

Many authors in disability studies/Mad studies are looking at the issue through a lens of "newgenics" or post-humanism. This examines biopsychosocial engineering from the ways society and 'human' subjectivities are being (re)imagined. These disciplinary fields may have some fruitful works and theorists.
