Fiber metal laminates are the advanced material which are widely used for aircraft application and marine application. In this GFRP sheets are sandwiched with the different metal sheets with the help of suitable adhesives. What kind of adhesives are being widely used and what should be the better one for my work.
If you prepare steel plate with abrasive paper to enhance roughness, epoxy resin is a option, if we consider how painful is the mould cleaning when epoxy outgoes its normal placement. Affinity with composite plate also insured : scratch also surface in contact with resin with fiber glass before assembling.
Vacuum bag could be use to applicate composite on plate before curing it or during cold polymerization.

Epoxy resin is certainly an option. However ,some (don't ask me who, as it's proprietary!) prefer polyurethanes. Good luck!
better make it with sandwiched structure or use industrial adhesive..
I meant curing bi - components glue ( resin and hardener).
