Whether phosphate solubilizing microorganisms can be used for the acidic soils. As acidic soils are already acidic and P is already available, is it required to add PSM which also makes the soil acidic and makes the P available.

Yes and it should definitely be done. Since phosphate is limited, its better utilisation is always promoted. But the acidic soil should be reclaimed by combined use of gypsum or any other strategy to facilitate better establishment of microbial consortium.
