If the Vaughn Methodology teaches the student to work with images, concepts, definitions, and logic, then I would agree with you. If it doesn´t I would not. I admit that I would have to study that methodology in detail. After I sudy the Methodology in detail, I will send my comments.

Fluency for EFL/ ESP learners usually forms a difficulty in one way or another.  So the best way to overcome fluency problems as I think is the use of gambits and communication strategies. Best of luck.
