For long, I am looking for the Sm-Nd analytical facility. My terrain has mafic, felsic and metasediments. So far there is no age data available for the mafic rocks. The rocks are having compositions like gabbro- anorthosite, amphibolite, dolerite and traps. In gabbro-anorthosite suite, platinum occurrence has been recorded recently.
You can approach Nutron Activation Analysis Laboratory of AMD DAE, Hyderabad A.P. 550016 or BARC Button Activation Analysis group. If the samples are if Indian origin. They don't analyse samples of foreign origins. You may also ask Shiva laboratory Bangalore.

Dear Dr. Dhurandhar,
Kindly give clues about your rock type/s and roughly the locations
1. The Basic dykes in Mikir Hills have Dioritic to Epidioritic composition.
2. Locations:
Five samples from Bar Juri Area and Six samples from Buriganga-Haya Juri
Area ( Total Eleven samples).
3. The prominent trends of these dykes are E-W in Southern part of Mikir Hills and NE-SW trend in the Northern Part of Mikir Hills.
In my study location, the mafic dykes bear doleritic composition, retaining sub-ophitic character. However, there are diorites and epidiorites in other localities. I am keen to receive soft copy of your upcoming paper on geochronology of mafic magmatics of Mikir Hills.
