During my experiment I found that different dissolution time may cause totally different activity. I use high pressure CO and 0.1M KHCO3 electrolyte, the CO gas didn't purged into solution but a stirring bar served to be the source of forced convection. I want to quantify the dissociation process so I need some data of CO dissolution rate. Hope someone can me some clues about this information.
Dear Jiajie Hou thank you for your interesting technical question. What I'm wondering is: Are you sure that you mean CO (carbon monoxide) and not CO2 (carbon dioxide)? A search for this question revealed numerous references concerning carbon dioxide such as the following potentially useful article:

In contrast, I found no related article concerning CO. I may be wrong, but why and how should carbon monoxide dissociate when purged into a solution of KHCO3? 😳
In principle, the dissociation of CO is possible, but I don't think it will occur in aqueous systems:

Dear professor, so grateful for your nice comments and useful reference @Frank T. Edelmann. I'm sorry I screwed up replying you under your answer for my unfamilaiar operation on the researchgate. Hope you can see my reply here. Yeah I have ever met the high pressure CO2 dissolution issue before, and there are loads of useful reference about the pressure, pH, and concentration of different species in the aqueous systems. So this part have been solved. As to CO, I was trying to use high pressure CO gas to raise the CO coverage on the electrode. However, it seems not work for the poor CO dissolution in aqueous solution. I was still trying to lift the CO pressure to see if the micro environment of electrode-liquid interface can be changed. Acoording to Henry's law, under the high pressure, the CO concentration can be calculated conveniently by [CO]=pressure/1atm*1mM. So my question is how to estimate the equilibrium time using some data like CO diffusion coefficient number.
