Hi! Good day everyone. Can someone help me where and how to find the time history data of N69W Taft Accelerogram Record or the Arvin Tahachapi Earthquake on July 21,1952? I would like to do a similar study regarding this. All answers will be much appreciated. Thank you.

At United States Geological Survey's (USGS) you can find everything, what you are looking for. Link: http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/world/historical.php . Also thus in connection standing links. Looking for historical data on earthquakes, epicenter, depth, magnitude, acceleration etc. link: http://scedc.caltech.edu/significant/index.html Southern California Earthquake Data Center (SCEDC).
It exists a global network of earthquake monitor institutions where you can also retrieve current values of earthquakes. These values are also exchanged between the seismic stations. So it occured on 08/22/1952 still a strong aftershock of Magnitude 5.8 also called Kern County Earthquake.
If listed data to the website are not enough for your research, then you can directly ask or you logging into the Southern California Earthquake Data Center (SCEDC).

Download deepsoil. In the install directory, you will get a folder named: input motions. Some historical earthquake data you can get a text file. For use in other software open excel>data>from text/CSV you will get the time acceleration history in tabular format.
