I am planning a research that I can describe as "Energy-Aware Virtual Machine Placement in the Cloud Using Visual Cognition". So I am checking if I can get test data from some cloud computing data bank.
From which I know, you can use CloudSim. The simulator has a cloud database for banks but I don't know if it's still available. You can check it here http://www.cloudbus.org/cloudsim/. I hope it helps.
The Delft University of Technology offers a dataset containing the performance metrics of 1,750 VMs from a distributed datacenter. This data is free for download and a recorded workload trace from Bitbrains, a Cloud Service Provider specialized in managed hosting and business computation for enterprises. I hope that is what your looking for.
